Music EDI Initiatives (2021 – 2022)

Thus far, we have distributed a questionnaire to our full-time faculty members and used it to start small group discussions amongst full-time faculty.  We have also been reaching out to numerous friends and colleagues in other departments and other institutions in order to learn what they have been doing to address anti-Black racism within their departments.  Anti-black racism is our focus at the moment, although once we have a larger, more inclusive committee/working group functional, we will be able to address other concerns of EDI as well.
